Life cycle

The life cycle of players consists of the following phases:
  • Young players increase rapidly their skills. The mental skills increase slowly, so players with more age have a plus in this facet.
  • Around age 25, players go through a period of stability in which the changes are less.
  • Around age 30, players decrease the physical and technical skills, although experience gained over the years, makes them good on pressure situations. Also they have great mental clarity.
  • At age 34, the players fold.
  • Matches provoke tiredness to players. They need to have breaks in order to reduce tiredness.
  • The moral status of players affects concentration during matches. Players with low moral state are inaccurate on passes, shots on goal, ball controls, etc. Furthermore, anticipation and creativity is reduced due to loss of concentration.
